1. Coverage

1.1      The Policy covers how we treat personal information that we collect and receive from users of the Service and the Website, including information related to past use of the Service and correspondence with us. 2.1       We collect personal information when you register for the Service, when you use the Service (including acquiring Vouchers and Private Access Codes), when you visit the Website, when you enter or subscribe for Offers and other promotions run by us and/or when you enter into transactions with us, Merchants and our other business partners. We may combine personal information about you that we have collected, or subsequently collect, with other information that we obtain from other persons.

2.2       When you register for the Service, we ask for information such as your name and e-mail address. Once you have registered with the Service, you are not anonymous to us. However, we ask for the minimum amount of personal information required to provide and maintain our services to you and we will never collect sensitive personal information about you without your prior consent.

2.3       We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information and the web-pages you access in connection with your use of the Service.

2.4       We use your personal information for the following general purposes: to customise Offers and other promotions and content; to market, issue, process, track and otherwise deal with Vouchers and Private Access Codes to process, track and otherwise deal with any payments; to change and improve the Service and any other services that we provide to you; to contact you as and when necessary, to conduct research and to provide reporting for Merchants and other clients of ours (such reporting to be anonymous as far as possible).

3. Information sharing and disclosure

3.1       We will not rent or sell your personal information with anyone for their marketing purposes without your consent.

3.2       We will not share your personal information with anyone except to provide the Service, when we have your permission or under the following circumstances:

(a) we may provide your personal information to Merchants and other commercial partners who work in conjunction with us in providing the Service, subject, as far as possible, to appropriate confidentiality arrangements being implemented. Such Merchants and other commercial partners may use your personal information to help us communicate with you about Offers and any other offers from us and/or our partners and to process, track and otherwise deal with Vouchers and Private Access Codes but do not have any independent right to share or use your personal information; or

  2. (a) to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to subpoenas, court orders or other legal process, to respond to government or regulatory authority enquiries, to establish, protect and exercise our legal and other rights and to defend any claim against us;

  3. (a) if we believe it is necessary to share your personal information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, criminal investigations, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Terms or as otherwise required by law.

3.3       If there is a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganisation or liquidation of March Ventures Limited then, in our sole discretion, we may transfer, sell or assign all information collected on and through the Website (including your personal information and other information), to the purchaser or any entity which arises out of such sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer, reorganisation or liquidation.

3.4       We may also display targeted Offers and/or advertisements based on the personal information relating to our users. Some advertisers may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted advertisements meet the targeting criteria. We do not provide any personal information to any of our advertisers. However, by interacting with or viewing an advertisement, you are accepting the possibility that the advertiser will assume that you meet the targeting criteria used for that advertisement.

3.5       Please note that as part of any permitted sharing of your personal information we may send your information internationally including to countries outside the European Economic Area.
