Oyster specialists and seafood wholesalers () will be bringing their unique and informal dining experience to South Kensington, in June, with the launch of their 5th restaurant. It will be located on the former site of La Bouchée, on Old Brompton Road.
The ‘Wright Brothers’ menu will source the finest available oysters, from their own Ducky oyster farm. The food will be prepared under the watchful eye of head chef Philip Coulter, who previously worked for Racine in Knightsbridge.
The interiors will take inspiration from the laid back feel of the ‘Wright Brothers’ award winning borough restaurant but will also include an intimate private dining room area. This particular site will also be sporting a first for the brothers restaurants; an independent bar accessible from the street.
Ben Wright and Robin Hancock started ‘Wright Brothers’ with the dream of re-popularising oysters in London and to educate people on the variety and various flavours that come from oysters of different provinces. Now it would seem that the dream has become a reality as they have grown into the go-to experts for oysters, supplying produce to 150 prominent restaurants and chefs across the UK.56 Old Brompton Road, London SW7 3DY
