Richard Hamilton At ICA | Presentation Of Two Installations
Two installations by the late renowned artist Richard Hamilton are to be exhibited at the ICA from 12 February – 6 April 2014 to coincide with the Tate Modern retrospective and to reflect the related between Hamilton and the ICA.
Richard Hamilton | Tate Modern Retrospective
Following on from the two-installation exhibition at the ICA, Richard Hamilton’s career is set to be exhibited with the Tate Modern gearing up to showcase his 60 year career featuring works from his early exhibition designs of the 1950s to the more modern paintings up until his death in 2011.
Sensing Spaces: Architecture Reimagined | Royal Academy Opens Doors to International Architects
In January 2014, the Royal Academy will open its doors to architectural practices from around the world. Sensing Spaces: Architecture Reimagined, is an attempt to ‘explore the essential elements of architecture’. Endeavouring to explain how architecture interacts with people, how the senses interact with people’s perception of space, proportion, materials and light.
Richard Deacon | Tate Britain Exhibition
Known for such works as After 1998, Turner Prize winner, Richard Deacon, will present a major exhibition at the Tate Britain. Comprising of around 40 pieces, the exhibition is a chronological survey of one of Britain’s foremost sculptors of today. The exhibition is to feature a range of sculptures and drawings, ranging from the large to the very small, made from an assortment of organic and everyday materials.

ANDINA | BRINGING PERUVIAN CUISINE TO SHOREDITCH
If you ever needed a reason to visit Shoreditch in London’s east end, new restaurant Andina is it. Dreamed up by restaurateur Martin Morales, founder of Ceviche in Soho, Andina opened at the beginning of December and serves healthy cuisine inspired by Peruvian dishes from the Andes region.

Ever-popular Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell has welcomed a new pork-inspired restaurant in December. Tom Ward, who spent five years as operations manager at locally-sourced fast-food chain Leon, has opened neighbourhood restaurant Blackfoot to explore his attachment to all things porcine.

New chicken and steak venue Hixter opened recently in Devonshire Square, following on from the success of Tramshed, owned by the same company HIX Restaurants. Located in the OId East India Company warehouse, the basement will house Mark’s Bar which will serve a range of cocktails old and new.
